Country Radio Seminar, Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum Partner For Reception/Tour Experience At CRS
Country Radio Seminar (CRS) and the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum will partner to offer CRS 2016 attendees a private reception and free tour of the museum on Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 5-7 p.m. CT. This keystone event is one of the many new events planned to launch, “The New CRS Experience.” In addition, CRS attendees can visit the museum on Monday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. CT.
CRS Executive Director, Bill Mayne states, “We have worked over the last 8 months to create a completely new CRS Experience in our new home, the OMNI hotel. We are so pleased to have partnered with the museum, a neighbor to our new location, in offering this fun and new opportunity to our constituents. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience to view country music history with all your friends and colleagues. This is a prime example of the fresh and innovative surprises you can come to expect from CRS this year!”
“Since the 1920s when radio introduced country music to the world, the genre and format have been intrinsically linked, said Sharon Brawner, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing for the museum. “Much like the exhibitions in our galleries, country radio tells the ongoing story of country music every day. As the dominant radio format in the U.S., it is only fitting that we welcome Country Radio Seminar to the home of country music history. We are thrilled to host attendees at the museum and contribute to the CRS motto “growth through sharing!’”
CRS attendees will have the opportunity to interact with museum representatives during the reception. CRS Guests are also invited to follow the museum on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and join the conversation using #HonorThyMusic and #CRS2016. In addition, CRS attendees will learn about opportunities for radio stations to partner with the museum year-round.
