Veteran radio hosts Katie Schurk and Nick Vitrano will officially return to the airwaves on Woodward Communications’ WKSZ-FM (95.9 Kiss FM) in Appleton-Oshkosh, WI. They join the new Kiss FM morning show hosted by Otis Day on Monday, June 10, weekdays from 5-9am. After waiting out a lengthy non-compete with crosstown CHR WIXX, Schurk and Vitrano are eager to reconnect with listeners across Northeast Wisconsin.

“I just can’t wait to get back to doing something that I love, with people that I love,” said Schurk. “We can not thank everyone enough for the support through these frustrating 6 months, but it’s go time. It’s time to laugh with each other again, and we’ve got a lot of things to cover from these last six months off air. Monday morning at 5am cannot come soon enough.”

“I’m a grab bag of adjectives – excited, ecstatic, thrilled, elated, giddy,” added Vitrano. “It’s kind of ironic, actually – I feel like there isn’t much left to be said. It’s just time to go, and I can’t wait.”

Day commented, “Work isn’t work when your friends are with you. I can’t wait for my friends to finally be free. I, along with most of NE Wisconsin, have been waiting for this day for 6 long months. The wait is over. The fun starts soon. Let’s go.”
