Wave to Launch ”Fitz and Whit” with Fitzpatrick and Whitworth
Wave Sports + Entertainment (Wave) is set to launch “Fitz & Whit” on October 28, a new series that brings together NFL icons Ryan Fitzpatrick and Andrew Whitworth. Known for their dynamic presence both on and off the field, the duo will share hosting duties, engaging audiences every Monday with fresh episodes available on platforms such as YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Alongside their roles as Thursday Night Football analysts on Prime Video, Fitzpatrick and Whitworth will dive into a range of topics, from the latest NFL games to personal anecdotes about their lives and families. The show promises to blend sports analysis with tales of their off-field adventures and insights into their personal lives, particularly their experiences as parents coaching their children’s sports teams.
Fitzpatrick expressed his enthusiasm about the new venture, noting, “Working on Thursday Night Football each week with Whit has been fantastic, and this show felt like the next step for us.” He added that they are eager to provide fans with a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their friendship and professional lives.
Whitworth shared similar sentiments, highlighting their long-standing friendship and shared experiences on and off the field. “Wave has been instrumental in bringing athlete-driven stories to the forefront, and we’re excited to partner with them to bring our stories to our fans,” Whitworth commented.
Wave Chief Content Officer Mack Sovereign said, “Ryan and Andrew’s genuine friendship and deep understanding of the game uniquely position them to enhance our growing lineup of original programming,” Sovereign stated.
