Cox Media Group (CMG)’s WHJX (Hot 106.5) in Jacksonville, FL adds Shawn Knight to afternoons. Most recently, he was with Cumulus AC KMAJ-FM (Majic 107.7) in Topeka, KS as morning host. The veteran air personality had co-hosted “The Majic Morning Show” since July, 2021 from 5:30-10am. A Chicago native, Knight has been an on-air staple for over two decades.

Before joining KMAJ, Knight was Assistant Brand Manager/afternoon host at Urban AC KISX (107.3 Kiss FM) in Tyler, TX. He’s also been heard on Urban AC WKZJ (K92.7) in Columbus, GA; Urban WPWX-FM (Power 92) in Chicago; WTLC-AM & FM in Indianapolis; and on Urban-Gospel WGCI-AM & FM in Chicago.
