Please follow these steps on how to create and submit press release and/or article to New Music Weekly by following our Submission Policy:

Before submitting your information, please browse through our website to get a good idea of the topics, genres, categories and formats we publish. 

  • You need to create an account to be able to submit your article. If you don’t want to create an account, please send us your posts by email.
  • Articles should be original, well-written, well-researched and structured as required within the news media industry. The purpose of the press release/article should be informative. It should be done for a music and radio audience.
  • Press Release/Articles should come with quota, mention or links to relevant sources (websites, social media, etc). NO competitors.
  • Search engines disapprove of duplicate content, so don’t do it; we only accept comprehensive and high-quality original press releases/articles related to website outreach and content marketing. Acceptable topic categories are provided below. Please review this list and choose an appropriate topic before you begin submitting.
  • To adhere to Google’s guidelines for guest articles, articles that are clearly intended as link-building schemes will be rejected. Please be thoughtful about any links you include in the articles you submit for consideration.
  • Include a short author bio with a maximum of 1 anchor text link to your own website (link will be noFollow). Remember, Google frowns upon guest articles as a link-building technique.
  • Proper attribution of data, quotations, and other third-party content referenced in the article is required.
  • Write to the length of your content and its value to the reader. Make your press release/article as long as it needs to be in order to maximize its quality and ensure its comprehensiveness.
  • Please add an image that matches with your article in order to make it more appealing. New Music Weekly is NOT responsible for images’ copyright. This is at the sole responsibility of you, the content creator. 
  • We will review all articles to determine whether they align with our content strategy and meet our editorial standards before publishing them on NewMusicWeekly.com and/or its published magazine.
