Internationally acclaimed Recording Artist, Shani has previously released multiple albums / singles and has toured the world extensively. Her recently released album, “The Moon Knows” is an ode and throwback to her earliest influences in music and with a love of 70’s and early 80’s songwriting, arrangements and mood, Shani focuses on a “feel good” approach with quality production on the album and in her current single, “Oh My”. Though born and raised a Southern girl in Arkansas with a love of soulful and rhythmic pop music, after a relocation to Los Angeles and time spent developing her career in musically diverse circles, she has since developed a unique reputation for working on Internationally enriched projects in music and film with an eclectic and respected catalogue. As both a Singer / Composer and also as an actor, she began to work on critically acclaimed and globally recognized film / television and musical projects where both she and her original soundtrack work and chosen end titled / theme music production are featured. Her work appears in such films as the Academy Award Winning film “Crash”, “American Fighter”, “American Wrestler”, “One Night with the King” as well as the recently released feature film, “Dark Asset” in which she also plays a starring role and created the Main Title theme song “Upside”, as well as being a Lead Producer. Her commitment to Humanitarian causes led her to write and produce the global humanitarian project “We Hear Your Voice” featuring 11 Iconic Global Music Stars and was performed for the Dalai Llama at the World Peace One Event broadcast live on AXS Television. She is also the Founder of the Non Profit Organization, Voices Out Inc. which gives voices and aid to children and animals in abusive, abandoned and neglectful conditions.
