Neuhoff Family LP, the parent company of Neuhoff Media-Lafayette LLC, has closed on its sale of the assets of its Lafayette, IN stations, including WKOA-FM, WKHY-FM, WASK-FM, WXXB-FM, WASK-AM, translator W269DJ and associated digital assets to Saga Communications of Indiana LLC. The company announced in January that it had made the strategic decision on behalf of the Neuhoff family to depart the broadcast industry after a period of almost 70 years.

“Saga Communications will continue the stewardship of these important stations for the Lafayette market. The Neuhoff Family is proud of the service provided to the community by our team and we are excited for what the future holds under their ownership,” said Neuhoff Family LP President Mike Hulvey.

Earlier this month, Champaign Multimedia Group closed on its acquisition of ten radio outlets in Illinois from Neuhoff Media. Included in the deal were WDAN-AM, WDNL-FM, WRHK-FM and W284DD licensed to Danville; WDZQ-FM, WSOY-AM, WSOY-FM, WDZ-AM and W277DB licensed to Decatur; and WCZQ-FM licensed to Monticello.

Kalil & Co., Inc. acted as the broker for these transactions.
