Magenta Moon has released their latest single, “More.” This electrifying track opens up a mesmerizing world of gothic romance, creating a hypnotic and passionate musical experience. Though chilling at times, “More” erupts into an electric hook that celebrates the power of true love. “More” is now available to stream and download worldwide.

“More” takes the audience on an alluring adventure, blending haunting melodies with ecstatic instrumentation. Magenta Moon, composed of Elaina Whitesell and Joseph Petrarca, dives deep into themes of love and reincarnation, reflecting on how meeting the right person makes one want to keep waking up and even reincarnate despite life’s challenges. “Step into the darkly enchanting world of Magenta Moon with our latest single, ‘More,’” the duo shares. This high-energy track entrances with its goth aesthetic and unyielding passion. The single was written by Elaina Whitesell and Joey Petrarca, recorded and mixed at Dead Stare Audio by Andrew Solis, and mastered by Nick Townsend (Paramore, Garbage, Weezer). In support of the release of “More,” the duo will be taking the stage at the Viper Room on June 28th. Known for their unique stage presence, Magenta Moon puts on an unforgettable performance. In a review of their live show, Music Connection Magazine raves, “Their dynamics are outstanding, and together with well-written and performed songs, they take you on a musical journey that leaves you refreshed and invigorated.”

Magenta Moon blends indie rock, pop, and electronic elements, and has a rich history that spans across the United States. Whitesell, from Illinois, and Petrarca, from Pennsylvania, crossed paths in Boston. There, they found love and started making music together, eventually moving to Los Angeles in September 2022. Their previous albums, Rapid When It Happens (2020) and I Brushed My Teeth; Let’s Make Love (2021), have garnered acclaim from Dope Cause We Said, The 110 Pod, and R+ for their innovative sound and riveting storytelling. Their recent releases, “Perceive Yourself” and “Move Me,” received championed praise from Darkus Magazine, Music Connection, and Indie Midlands.

“More” is another testament to Magenta Moon’s ability to create music that resonates deeply with its audience. With an ethereal yet powerful sound, this track showcases the duo’s magical world. “More” is now available to stream and download on platforms worldwide. Be sure to catch the duo at the Viper Room on June 28th and follow them on Instagram and TikTok @MagentaMoonParty.
