iHeartMedia/St. Louis names Dustin “Haze” Monroe as Assistant Program Director for KSLZ (Z107.7) in St. Louis, effective immediately. He’ll also handle afternoons weekdays from 3-7pm. Haze is a long-time radio veteran who attended the American Broadcasting School in Dallas and began his career at KJCK in Kansas. Since then, he has been at stations in Dallas, Austin, Virginia Beach and now back to his home in St. Louis.

“Haze is an amazing personality who electrifies every event or show that he appears in. Having held major on-air positions in St. Louis, including here at Z-107.7, Haze has a close relationship with this city and the people in it. We are so excited to welcome him back,” said iHeartMedia St. Louis and Indianapolis Market President John Beck.

“Wow. 18 years ago, I left the East Coast to come back to the Midwest to work at the legendary Z 107.7. Since then, I have built a life in St. Louis and call the city my home. My son was born and raised here, I have deep relationships and I wouldn’t want to be in any other city. I am honored to be back. It’s time to make some noise in afternoon drive again,” said Haze.
