Edison Research has released its latest quarterly report of the Top 50 Podcasts in the U.S., based on reach among weekly podcast listeners aged 13 and older. The Q1 2025 rankings from Edison Podcast Metrics show a familiar lineup at the top, with The Joe Rogan Experience continuing its run as the most listened-to podcast in the country.

Here are the top ten shows from Q4 2024:

  1. The Joe Rogan Experience
  2. Crime Junkie
  3. The Daily
  4. Call Her Daddy
  5. This Past Weekend with Theo Von
  6. Dateline NBC
  7. This American Life
  8. Rotten Mango
  9. SmartLess
  10. New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce

Stephanie Soo’s Rotten Mango, a true crime podcast that recently joined the SiriusXM Podcast Network, broke into the Top 10 for the first time, fueled in part by attention in a major YouTube milestone press release. Meanwhile, New Heights, hosted by NFL brothers Jason and Travis Kelce, surged into the Top 10 following a significant jump in listenership.

The biggest debut of the quarter came from The Mel Robbins Podcast, which entered the chart at #15. Robbins, a best-selling self-help author, has found podcasting success alongside her viral social media popularity, particularly around her “Let Them” philosophy encouraging self-empowerment and boundary-setting.

Also making its first appearance in the Top 50 is Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast, landing at #50. Co-host Shane Gillis has remained in the spotlight with high-profile comedy appearances, including hosting Saturday Night Live for a second time and participating in a Super Bowl-week show with musician Zach Bryan.

The Edison Podcast Metrics rankings are based on continuous interviews conducted throughout the first quarter of 2025, in both English and Spanish. The survey included responses from 5,068 weekly podcast listeners and reflects audience reach across the full quarter.
