Alternative rock band Her Leather Jacket has released their latest single, “Famous,” off their upcoming EP, The House That Chaos Built, due out July 19th. The track delves into deep emotions and the rollercoaster of trying to be successful in the music industry. Stream and download “Famous” on all platforms now worldwide.

Produced by Aaron Gillespie of Underoath and The Almost, “Famous” features intense instrumentals, vulnerable lyrics, and an ethereal vibe, giving their audience something they haven’t heard before from Her Leather Jacket. The stripped-down verses allow for the message of the lyrics to shine through, while the contrasting high-energy chorus offers a stark contrast and serves as an explosion of emotions. “Famous,” written by Manny Blu, Johnny Gates, and Aaron Gillespie, illustrates the ups and downs of trying to be successful and allows the listener to relate it to their own life. “It’s an introspective song drawing on our experience of being in Nashville and trying to be taken seriously as an artist,” explains the duo. “Johnny and Aaron are killer songwriters to work with, and while the song is definitely personal, the message has a relatable theme for anyone trying to make it.” The single was mixed by Matt Huber (Smallpools, Boys Like Girls) and mastered by Grammy-nominee Adam Grover (Green Day, Zach Bryan).

Her Leather Jacket is a Nashville-based rock duo consisting of lead singer Manny Blu and drummer Wes Snyder. The band pulls from different genres, seamlessly blending elements of punk, alternative, and rock. Her Leather Jacket takes inspiration from bands like Good Charlotte, Bring Me the Horizon and Falling in Reverse as they blur the lines to create their pop-punk, alternative rock sound. Gearing up to drop their EP this July, the band has recently released “Cut Me Up” and “Cloud 9” and has been praised by notable publications, including New Noise Magazine, antiMusic, Divine Magazine, and more.

From the emotional lyrics to the expressive instrumental choices, “Famous” highlights Her Leather Jacket’s pure talent and passion for their craft while letting the listener see a different side of the band. You can stream and download “Famous” on all platforms now, and don’t forget to follow Her Leather Jacket on Instagram @HerLeatherJacketOfficial and TikTok @herleatherjacket and check out their website HerLeatherJacket.com.
