Geepers! Drops Infectiously Groovy Album Snoozin’

Geepers! has released his debut album Snoozin’, a sonically uplifting and artistically vulnerable piece composed of thirteen tracks tackling the constant feeling of tiredness leaving you drained by the day. With its flowy, storylike feel, Geepers! takes the time to reflect on the annoying nuances thrown our way day by day, utilizing his own life journey and worries, fears, and stressors. Each song encapsulates a personal theme within his own life through his defined and unique sonic landscape. Snoozin’ is now available to stream and download worldwide.

Snoozin’ is a funky and lively album that explores the reason why Geepers! is constantly depleted, asking himself: “Why am I feeling this way, and what conclusion can I come to in order to alleviate this?” Geepers! initiates a listening experience through an alternative indie-pop soundscape with his audience by keeping it nostalgic and fresh, yet with a sunny poignant touch. Alluring listeners from the opening intro “Dedication” and offering a sonic preview of what’s to come, Geepers! sets the tone for the album right from the start. He then transitions into “Talk About,” a track that sparks a nostalgic, childlike joy, before launching into the shout-along anthem “Work!” Fan favorites “Lavender” and “Fine Line” also make an appearance, bringing back the familiar head-bopping, bubbly energy that defines his signature playful sound. While every track showcases his thought-provoking, intimate, and raw lyrics about life’s many twists and turns, this is especially evident in singles like “VelveTeen,” “Forecast,” “Home Team,” “I’m Cool, If You’re Cool With It,” and “Your Chest.” Slowing things down in “Sweater,” Geepers! reveals a more vulnerable side, setting aside his usual funkadelic tone for a heartfelt piano ballad. The stripped-back arrangement lets his voice take center stage, delivering emotion with striking intimacy. “Lint” serves as an elated bop tonally, but lyrically is deep where in-depth listening is vital. With a joyful ending in the title track, “Snoozin’,” Geepers! goes full force, producing a song that gets to the point and concludes the story that is Snoozin’. “Every day I seem to wake up more tired than the last. Snoozin’ is my examination of why,” Geepers! explains. “It’s a playful, honest dive into all the little anxieties, distractions, and overthinking that leave me drained, with one simple conclusion: sometimes it’s just easier to hit snooze and stay under the covers.” Snoozin’ was written, recorded, mixed, and produced by Edison Roberts, and mastered by Garrison Roberts, an all-in effort that defines rising indie-pop artist Geepers! as he carves out a name and space for himself in the music industry.

Geepers!, the project of New York native Edison Roberts, channels his authenticity through spunky rhythms and a unique charm, crafting stories that resonate with listeners from all walks of life. His earliest memories with music go back to playing Abbey Road and the Curious George soundtrack on a little CD player as a child. Geepers! draws inspiration from the 70s era in his writing and cites Arlie’s Break the Curse as a notable reason for his bold production choices. By self-producing his tracks, Geepers! brings a distinctive identity within the music scene by emulating a tone that makes his songs energetic, never-forgetting, and kaleidoscopic. Through his transparent lyrical style, Geepers! touches on the highs and lows of life and offers a hand to those who need an uplifting artist to guide them through the day. His work has been championed by outlets like EARMILK, Voxwave Magazine, and Mystic Sons. Now based in Long Beach, CA, Geepers! is here to background your day with songs that make you think, dance, and, above all, feel.

Snoozin’ is Geepers!’s way of exploring deeply relatable themes like overthinking, exhaustion, and anxiety, using his own experiences and perspective, all set to a danceable beat. Geepers! creates a sense of connection with his listeners by pairing honest, heartfelt lyrics with a celebratory sound, making audiences feel seen, heard, and uplifted. Dance along to the dreamy introspection of Snoozin’, available to stream now. Follow Geepers! on Instagram @geepersmusic and visit his website KeepGeepin.com to stay up to date.
