22-year-old virtuoso guitarist Emi Grace has released her latest head-banging single, “Known Better,” reflecting on a past relationship riddled with red flags, ones she now realizes her mother saw all along. Emi Grace lights the fuse through an electrifying beat and bold lyricism, exclaiming her personal autonomy. She leaves the relationship knowing her self-worth and with a better understanding of what she wants in the future. “My mama told me not to f**k with this type,” she exclaims. Embodying her captivating melodies and defiantly sweet vocals, infused with mind-bending guitar rock elements, “Known Better” is now available to stream and download worldwide on all platforms.

“Known Better” is a standout single from Emi Grace’s upcoming debut EP, set for release this summer. The track captures her signature sound, an alluring sonic landscape marked by sharp guitar work and irresistibly catchy lyrics. The track packs a tonal punch and sharp edge, driven by Emi Grace herself, whose impressive guitar solos have already captivated audiences across the U.S., becoming a highlight of her live performances. The song’s elevated production and mixing can be attributed to the duo SameSame. Knowing what she deserves, biting lyrics such as “Got me doing things I never do / Always telling me how / Oh it’s killing me now… / Zip is tight now and say your goodbyes / And get out of my life,” showcases her confidence in being able to shed an illusion for honesty,  demonstrating the bold clarity that she should have known better.

Raised in Southern California and now based in Los Angeles, Emi Grace is carving out her place in the rock scene with a distinct fusion of rock, electronic textures, and otherworldly guitar elements. Emi Grace has drawn inspiration from legends such as No Doubt, Tom Morello, and Van Halen, inspiring her unique sound. As the founder of “Trashy Tone Thursday,” listeners can see weekly social media snippets of Emi Grace jamming out and improvising on the guitar. Finding her signature sound, she has garnered millions of views and has built a name for herself as a musician. Emi Grace has been championed and praised by Guitar World Magazine and is set to support The Kills on their headlining shows in Jersey City & Baltimore in between their run with Queens Of The Stone Age. She has previously opened for Fitz & the Tantrums, Winnetka Bowling League, and K.Flay as well as performed shows at School Night, Red Rocks Amphitheatre with it’s murph, and The Troubadour, cementing her status as one of rock’s most exciting emerging voices.

“Known Better” is a raw and empowering anthem that captures Emi Grace’s journey of growth and resilience, offering a glimpse into her evolving sound. The track reflects on lessons learned and the strength it takes to move forward, emerging wiser, more self-assured, and ready to find the right person. The track exudes empowerment and is a little piece of what audiences can expect from Emi Grace in her upcoming EP. To feel those infectious vibes from her music, catch her live opening for The Kills on June 14th in Jersey City and 15th in Baltimore.
