The Country Radio Broadcasters honored six radio legends at the 2025 Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, held Monday night at the Virgin Hotel in Nashville. The evening marked a milestone 50th anniversary for the Hall of Fame, celebrating half a century of honoring those who have shaped and elevated country radio.

This year’s class of inductees included air personalities Big D & Bubba, Mary McCoy, and Rowdy Yates, as well as radio veterans Ginny “Rogers” Brophey, Clay Hunnicutt, and Gregg Swedberg. The night featured emotional tributes, career retrospectives, and memorable moments shared among peers, family, and fans.

Jon Loba, President of Frontline Recordings for BMG Americas, was also presented with the 2025 CRB President’s Award. The honor recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the Country Radio Seminar and the advancement of country radio. Loba was commended for his work in broadening the global reach of country music.

The event also served as the launchpad for a weeklong series of commemorative events across Nashville. During the cocktail reception and dinner, the new Legends of Country Radio streaming channel was introduced. Hosted by WSM-AM, the 24/7 channel showcases five decades of archived broadcasts, classic country hits, and rare audio from Hall of Fame members. Signature programs include Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40, Bob Kingsley Specials, and New Music Nashville, produced by Bob Guerra.

Nominations for the 2026 Country Radio Hall of Fame are now open, with the next class of inductees to be announced at CRS 2026, set for March 18-20, 2026. For more information and to submit nominations, visit crb.org.
