”Call Her Daddy” Podcast Signs $125M Deal with SiriusXM

Alex Cooper, the host of the popular “Call Her Daddy” podcast, has entered into a new partnership with SiriusXM, ending her previous deal with Spotify. The multi-year deal gives SiriusXM rights to advertise, distribute and host other content and events related to the podcast. Sources familiar with the deal have reported its value at $125 million over three years, more than double her previous contract with Spotify.

Starting next year, SiriusXM will begin offering content from “Call Her Daddy.” Additionally, SiriusXM has secured global ad sales rights for Cooper’s Unwell Network, which includes podcasts such as “Hot Mess with Alix Earle,” “Pretty Lonesome with Madeline Argy,” “Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey,” and “In Your Dreams with Owen Thiele.”

“Call Her Daddy” was Spotify’s second most popular podcast in 2023, following “The Joe Rogan Experience.” Cooper’s departure marks another significant shift as major podcasts migrate from exclusive streaming platforms to SiriusXM. Earlier this year, the podcast “SmartLess,” hosted by Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Sean Hayes, also moved to SiriusXM under a three-year, $100 million deal after leaving Amazon.

“The Daddy Gang will always be my top priority, and with SiriusXM we will continue to find new ways to evolve and provide my listeners the best experience,” Cooper stated, referring to her dedicated fanbase.

Since launching “Call Her Daddy” in 2018 with former co-host Sofia Franklyn, Cooper has risen to become one of the most listened-to female podcasters globally. The show has featured interviews with a range of celebrities, including Zayn Malik, Christina Aguilera, Jane Fonda, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Despite SiriusXM’s new advertising rights, “Call Her Daddy” and the Unwell Network will continue to be available on Spotify.
