Beasley Media to Swap Frequencies for KCYE and KVGS
Beasley Media Group announced a frequency swap for its Las Vegas stations KCYE and KVGS, set to take effect at midnight on Thursday, November 13. As part of the change, KCYE will move back to 102.7 FM — the 99,000-watt Class C signal — while KVGS will return to 107.9 FM. The move restores both brands to their familiar dial positions, a decision the company says will optimize coverage and strengthen service throughout Southern Nevada.
“We’re excited to return these legendary stations to their original frequencies,” said AJ Lurie, Regional Vice President of Beasley Media Group Las Vegas. “This change enhances our ability to deliver the best possible listening experience to our audiences and provides greater opportunities for our advertisers.”
KCYE-FM (102.7 Coyote Country) will continue to feature today’s biggest Country hits and personalities, benefiting from a broader reach with its expanded signal. KVGS (107.9 VGS) will maintain its Hot AC format, offering a mix of hits from the 1990s through today.
“Both KCYE and KVGS have deep roots in this market,” added Justin Chase, Chief Content Officer at Beasley Media Group. “This frequency realignment allows us to build on their legacies and strengthen our overall presence in the Las Vegas community.”
