This holiday season, America Media and Skyview Networks are set to warm the hearts of listeners with a four-hour radio special derived from the popular podcast, “Hark! The Stories Behind Our Favorite Christmas Carols.” Starting December 9, stations across the country can broadcast the special, available via FTP, which delves into the tales and origins of iconic Christmas carols.

The special will feature episodes from Hark!, including explorations of classics such as “Carol of the Bells,” “O Holy Night” and “The Wexford Carol” (also known as the Enniscorthy Carol). Each episode brings to life the stories behind these timeless tunes, enriching the holiday experience for listeners with fascinating historical insights and interpretations.

Maggi Van Dorn, the creator and host of Hark!, has propelled the podcast to significant acclaim, achieving top rankings on Apple Podcasts — #4 in Music Commentary and #11 in U.S. Music in 2023. With her background as an producer, Van Dorn leads a team of theologians, musicians and unexpected guests from diverse fields such as Chinese herbal medicine and Appalachian folk dance, offering a fresh perspective on the traditional sounds of the season.

For stations interested in bringing this unique holiday experience to their audience, contact Maggi Van Dorn for more details.
