NuVoodoo to Unveil New Country Music Research at CRS 2025
NuVoodoo Media Services, in collaboration with Country Radio Seminar (CRS), is set to present research on Country music and its audience at the upcoming CRS 2025 event. The presentation, entitled “The Country Fan – Reviewing, Retaining, and Recruiting Your Listeners,” will take place on Thursday, February 20 and promises to offer new insights into the preferences and behaviors of Country music fans.
Drawing on a comprehensive survey involving 1,500 Country music enthusiasts from across the U.S., the study explores various aspects of the genre’s appeal and its audience’s listening habits. Topics to be discussed include current sentiments towards Country music, the various platforms and sources through which fans consume Country music, and their perceptions of Country radio in today’s landscape.
In addition to the survey, NuVoodoo has conducted detailed interviews with individual fans, providing a more personal perspective on the quantitative data. The study also includes music testing of over 400 Country songs, performed with a group of more than 700 fans, aimed at identifying the tracks that truly resonate with the audience and capture the essence of authentic Country music.
Carolyn Gilbert, CEO of NuVoodoo, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming presentation, stating, “What do they think? How do they feel? About Country radio? About Country music? We asked a lot of questions, and we have answers. We look forward to sharing these insights at CRS.”
While advance registration for CRS 2025 has closed, potential attendees can still register on-site starting Wednesday, February 19. More information about the event can be found at CountryRadioSeminar.com.
