iHeartMedia appoints Zann Fredlund as Program Director for KDMX (The New MIX 102.9) in Dallas. In addition to her new responsibilities in Dallas, Fredlund will maintain her post as PD of KHFI-FM (96.7 Kiss FM) in Austin. Previously, she served as Program Director for CHR KXXM-FM (96.1 Now) in San Antonio. She also contributed to iHeartMedia Seattle as the Assistant Program Director for KBKS-FM (Hits 106).

Her early career began at WTDY (Wired 96.5) in Philadelphia after graduating from Temple University, setting the foundation for her subsequent achievements in radio programming.

Marc Sherman, Executive Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Texas/Louisiana, praised Fredlund’s appointment, noting, “Zann’s passion, creativity, and deep understanding of our audience make her the perfect fit for this role. Her proven leadership and innovative approach will undoubtedly drive the station’s success to new heights.”

Fredlund stated, “This is an incredible opportunity to lead such an iconic brand and team in Dallas. I’m super excited to expand my role with the Texas region and continue my work at iHeartMedia.”
