The track was written from the perspective of supporting another person in their time of need, serving as a comforting reminder that even the toughest times will pass. “Reflectively, I found it incredibly therapeutic to write this song from the perspective of being there for someone else; reassuring them that the darkness would pass and I would be there no matter what,” he explains. “Blink Twice” combines immersive soundscapes and emotionally charged arrangements, resulting in a cathartic listening experience that invites listeners to reflect on their own struggles and the importance of relying on others.
