Tom Oakes Named OM For Scripps/Springfield, MO Cluster

Former OHANA MEDIA GROUP/ANCHORAGE, AK VP/GM TOM OAKES is headed to SCRIPPS/SPRINGFIELD, MO as OM for the five-station cluster, which includes Country KTTS, Adult Hits KRVI, Top 40 KSPW, and News/Talk KSGF-A/F. OAKES will also handle day-to-day programming for KTTS, succeeding the late MARK GRANTIN, who passed away last month. The cluster has been without an OM since VALORIE KNIGHT left last year to join MIDWEST FAMILY’s crosstown four-station group for the same duties. OAKES announced his departure from OHANA/ANCHORAGE in MAY after 12 years His previous radio stops include SOUTH BEND, IN., OMAHA, and WISCONSIN.
